Vegan catering for an office: how far ahead to book, and how to cost a portion

What to have ready

When a company orders vegan banh mi for a meeting, a department birthday or the monthly vegan day, we need three things: how many people are eating, the time it has to arrive, and the delivery address. That is all — choosing the items and costing the portions is our job.

For 15 people or more, call the hotline on 0923.183.183 to settle the items and the time. A call is quicker than a message, because anything unclear is resolved on the spot rather than turning into a wrong quantity at delivery.

How far ahead

Under 20 portions

Two to three hours is enough, same-day delivery included. The shops are open 24 hours, so an early morning or a late evening order is taken as normal — there is no need to wait for office hours.

Twenty to fifty portions

Order in the morning for the same lunchtime, or a day ahead if the company needs a fixed delivery time — 11:30 exactly, say, so the whole department eats together. Ordering early lets us have enough fresh bread and enough ice ready, instead of packing under pressure.

Over fifty portions, ceremonies and temple orders

At least one day ahead, and ideally two or three if it falls on the first or fifteenth of the lunar month, or on a major company occasion. On the busy vegan days we need time to prepare fresh ingredients at that volume — we do not make ahead and reheat.

Costing a portion

A portion is priced per head, usually one loaf and one drink. Choose a combination to fit the budget; these are the usual levels:

• Economy: Bơ Đường at 28,000d + Jasmine Lemon Tea at 36,000d = 64,000d per head
• Standard: Chả Lát Chay at 53,000d + Nut Milk Coffee at 45,000d = 98,000d per head
• Full: Thập Cẩm at 59,000d + Nut Milk Bubble Tea at 45,000d = 104,000d per head
• Premium: Thượng Hạng Premium at 75,000d, the big one, + Brown Sugar Nut Milk Bubble Tea at 48,000d = 123,000d per head

You do not have to pick one loaf for everybody. Give us the quantity of each by department or preference, and we will pack them separately and label them if that helps when they are handed out.

How the bill works

The total is the sum of the portions at list price, with no service charge added. If the company needs an invoice, say so when ordering so that we can prepare the details in advance rather than chasing them after delivery.

Delivery and charges

The five shops are at 38 Lê Thị Riêng, 15B Nguyễn Thị Minh Khai, 2B Trần Hưng Đạo and 148B Đề Thám in District 1, and 210 Bùi Văn Ba in District 7. Company orders go out from whichever is nearest, so the bread is still warm and the drinks still cold on arrival.

Orders from 500,000d within 5km are delivered free. Company catering usually clears that threshold, so most such orders are delivered free of charge. For an address beyond 5km we still deliver; the charge is based on the actual distance and quoted clearly before the order is confirmed, with nothing added on arrival.

Call 0923.183.183 with the headcount, the delivery time and the company address. We will suggest a combination that fits the budget, fix the delivery time, and confirm the quantity of each item before we start, so nothing is short when it arrives.

Quick questions

How far ahead for about 30 people?

Order in the morning for the same lunchtime. If the company needs a fixed delivery time, ordering a day ahead makes both the timing and the quantity certain.

Can a company order several different loaves?

Yes. Give us the quantity of each and we will pack them separately, with labels if you need them split by department.

Can you issue an invoice?

Yes, but tell us when ordering so that we can prepare the details, rather than adding them after the delivery has gone out.

What if the office is beyond 5km?

We still deliver. The charge is based on the actual distance from the nearest shop and quoted before the order is confirmed, with nothing added on arrival.

Is a temple order different from a company one?

The per-head costing and the notice are much the same; the delivery time is usually earlier, to fit the ceremony. For 50 portions or more on the first or fifteenth of the lunar month, order one to two days ahead.

Do large orders have to go through the hotline?

Calling 0923.183.183 is faster and more reliable, because the items and the timing can be checked on the spot — which matters most when the quantities are large.
