What to know before ordering in bulk

Class reunions, birthdays, company parties, temple offerings on the fifteenth of the lunar month — customers ask us the same few questions each time: how far ahead to order, how it is priced, and whether you deliver that far. Here are the answers, without the padding.

How far ahead

Banh Mi XANH is open 24 hours, so an order is taken at any time — but the larger the quantity, the earlier it should be placed, so the shop can prepare fresh ingredients in time.

Under 20 portions

Two to three hours is enough. That covers a small birthday at home, or a table of five or six.

Twenty to fifty portions

Call in the morning if the party is that afternoon or evening. This is the usual size for a school or university reunion.

Over fifty portions

Company parties, events and temple offerings on the first or the fifteenth of the lunar month should be ordered a day ahead. Demand for vegan food rises sharply on those days — Đậu Hũ Cay and Thập Cẩm especially — so ordering early is how we hold the quantity for you.

How it is priced

Items are at list price per portion; there is no separate wholesale rate. The total is the quantity times the price of each item, plus delivery where the order does not qualify for free delivery.

Drinks are priced separately: Black Coffee at 35,000d, Nut Milk Coffee at 45,000d, Jasmine Lemon Tea at 36,000d, Nut Milk Bubble Tea at 45,000d, Brown Sugar Nut Milk Bubble Tea at 48,000d. When you order loaves and drinks for a whole table, we itemise each line so that the bill is easy to check.

Free delivery, and how far we go

Orders from 500,000d within 5km of one of the five shops are delivered free. For a smaller order or a more distant address, delivery is charged on the actual distance and quoted when the order is taken over the phone.

Wherever the party is, the nearest shop takes the order and delivers it, so the bread is still crisp and warm on arrival. If the address sits between two shops, whichever has a rider free goes first, so that nobody is kept waiting.

What to order for which occasion

In a large group, tastes differ — order a mix rather than one item for everybody.

A birthday at home

Thượng Hạng Premium as the main item for the adults, plus Bơ Đường for the children, which is mild and easy to eat. Order both hot and iced drinks — Nut Milk Coffee and Jasmine Lemon Tea, say — so people can choose.

A reunion or a company party

Spread the order across three or four items — Thập Cẩm, Chả Lát Chay, Đậu Hũ Cay — so that everyone has a choice. If the party runs from lunch into the afternoon, add Brown Sugar Nut Milk Bubble Tea for the mid-session lull.

A temple or ceremony order

Favour a large quantity of a single item, which makes the portions easier to distribute — usually Thập Cẩm or Đậu Hũ Cay. Give us the exact date and delivery time so the schedule fits the ceremony.

How to order

Call the hotline on 0923.183.183 with the quantity, the delivery time and the address; the shop will confirm the total and the delivery time before the order is finalised. If you are not sure of the quantity yet, call anyway — we will advise based on how many people are actually coming.

Quick questions

How far ahead for 50 portions for a company party?

Call a day ahead so the shop has enough fresh ingredients. If the party is today and urgent, call the hotline and we will tell you straight away whether it can be done.

Will you deliver an order under 500,000d?

Yes, as normal — it simply does not qualify for free delivery. The charge is based on the actual distance from the nearest shop to the address.

Which shop covers a reunion in District 7?

210 Bùi Văn Ba in District 7 takes and delivers orders for that area. For an address near the District 1 boundary, whichever shop has a rider free goes first.

Does a temple order on the fifteenth need more notice than usual?

Yes. Demand for vegan food rises sharply on the first and fifteenth of the lunar month, so order one to two days ahead for us to hold the quantity.

Can one order mix several loaves and drinks?

Yes. We price each item by quantity — list out how many of each when you call and we will total it accurately.

What makes Thượng Hạng Premium a good party choice?

It is the big one at 75,000d, which makes it the main item for adults with a real appetite. Pair it with Bơ Đường for the children at the same party.
